Ryan Alexander is a producer, artist, musician, and Recording Academy member who has been playing piano for 17 years, and drums for 18. Ryan attended Columbia College Chicago from 2010 to 2011, where he began producing and releasing music for other artists. Some of Ryan’s notable achievements to date include performing an opening set for Naughty By Nature, having a song performed and written by him placed in Just A Friend, a film now available on Amazon Prime, and performing as a spotlight artist for Viola Davis’ “The March” exhibit premiere in collaboration with Time Magazine.
Ryan has served as an assistant to former midwest chapter president of the Recording Academy, Mark Hubbard. He’s collaborated with over 100 local artists and musicians. He is the curator of the cover series #CoversWithRyanAlexander found on YouTube and other social media platforms. Ryan has headlined two events at Chicago’s House of Blues Foundation Room and has had multiple performances at Chicago’s Soho House.
“It’s RA Productions” was created by Ryan, under which he released his first solo album, Inspired By You, in 2020. Super Bae, a single off of the album, has been played and in rotation on Power92 Chicago since its release. Ryan’s performance history has spanned from numerous SoFar shows in various cities, frequently performing for the “Live @ Mariano’s” series and other performances at premium Chicago venues. He’s also played the piano and keyboard accompanying prominent artists, Oliv Blu on her audition for The Voice, and Matt Muse in various performances including one in Toronto, Canada.

CBF Hollywood, born Harold Joe Jr. in Dunedin FL, is a multi-faceted artist whose cadence is an impression of his life experiences – past and present. The Tarpon Springs, Florida native experienced childhood in a universe of different sounds. When Hollywood was a young boy, he would listen to his grandfather play the organ daily in preparation for the church’s Sunday morning service. Music was constantly present in CBF Hollywood’s household, played by family members. This exposure to music helped to shape the young Harold Jr. into the artist he is today.
CBF Hollywood was initially uninterested in becoming an artist. He discovered that making beats for his family members wasn’t enough to keep him piqued in the game. During their recording sessions, he would mentor them on how they should rap on his beats. Clay James and A Pimp Named Sweet Tooth are buzzing underground solo acts which have garnered local and national success. Together they form hip hop super group Southern Playas and they’ve been taking Atlanta by storm since their inception. A lot of people became familiar with the Southern Playas because of their hit single ‘Southern Playa Sh*t’ which became an underground classic in the southeast. Others became familiar with the group while they were touring with hip hop legend Snoop Dogg. Clay James is currently working on his ‘Kickin Pimpin Vol.2’ project which is executive produced by FKi’s Saucelord Rich and is set to drop later this year. Two weeks ago Clay released his first single off that project entitled ‘007’ and it’s been making a lot of noise on the internet and in the streets. ‘007’ will make its radio debut in Clay’s hometown Savannah, Georgia today on 94.1 FM and the music video is set to appear on BET Jams next week.
